A fixture in the Olde Towne Okotoks business scene is celebrating a milestone this weekend. 

Tribal Connections Market is celebrating its 20th anniversary on Sunday, June 9 from 2 to 8 p.m. 

The cafe, live entertainment venue and retail store is operated by two sisters, Jodi Loverin and Wendy Badduke, and offers globally sourced fair-trade products. 

Loverin said the business has evolved over ther years, and she's thankful for continued support from the community.

"We're just so blessed to have so much support," she said.

During the celebration at the McRae Street business, in-store purchases will be 20 per cent off and there will be complimentary coffee and snacks, draws for gift baskets and a drumming session.

Loverin said she's looking forward to seeing long-time customers and past staff members.

"There's going be a lot of the olden days people, which I'm super excited about," Loverin said. "We still have customers right from the beginning that still come it."
