The Okotoks Track and Cross-Country Club wrapped up its fall racing series on Nov. 9.
The series was encompassed by five races over the past three weeks on Okotoks’ expansive pathway system with awards handed out to the junior and senior athletes, as well as a team award along with an ironman award for attending each race.
The fastest over the five races were: Sydney Neukom (senior high girls), Lyvia Gill (junior high girls), Fraser Halbert (senior high boys) and Kaelan McKernan (junior high boys).
The ironman award went to: Neukom, Gill, McKernan, Eva Hudson, Eric Michel, Abbey Easton, Julianna Brown, Katilyn Brown, Mya Hall, Tom Murphy and Seth Schritter.
The OTCC is in its seventh year in operation and offers year-round instruction for those in grades 7-12.
The club moves its training inside the Cavalry FC Regional Field House in Aldersyde to kick off the winter portion of its training.
