February 18, 1926 - January 8, 2025
With heavy hearts we announce the passing
of Duane Eugene Dick on January 8, 2025, at
nearly 99 years old. Duane passed peacefully,
surrounded by loving family, after a life defined
by hard work, and dedication to his family.
Born February 18, 1926, in Carseland, Alberta,
to Phillip and Elizabeth Dick, Duane was one of
twelve children.
A graduate of SAIT’s Carpentry program,
Duane went on to run his own successful
construction company for many years. Several
of his buildings can still be found throughout
the Foothills region.
Duane is survived by his beloved wife of
65 years, Maureen; children Debbie (Don),
Bob, and Tracy; grandchildren: Nicola, Isaac,
Amanda, and Ethan; and sister Lynne. Duane
is predeceased by his grandchild Rachel and
daughter Suzy.
Duane’s life and legacy will be fondly
remembered for generations.
