We announce with great sadness the
passing of Ricky George Kneiss Sr. After a
long-fought illness, Rick passed away
peacefully surrounded by his family at the
age of 77.
Rick was born in Calgary, the son of George
and Merle Kneiss. He is survived by his loving
wife Ellen, son Ricky (Christy), daughter
Michelle and his six grandchildren, Lydia,
Laura, Sarah, Emma, Brooklyn and Victoria.
Rick was a proud Albertan and, enjoyed
many camping trips and loved his Alberta
mountains. He enjoyed his model trains and
his involvement in minor sports. He built a life
of love, laughter and cherished memories for
his family.
As per Rick’s request, there will be no
public service. In lieu of flowers donations
can be made in Rick’s name to STARS
Air Ambulance.
